· Successfully planned for Collective Bargaining agreement increases coming in $.075mm under budget which was a reduction of 275% from the initial union demand.
· Renegotiated existing invoices down 35% from then exclusive internet marketer and reduced their exclusivity from four offers to one offer.
Benefit and Payroll Administration
· Risk Analysis of the health of the employee population to determine if self-funded healthcare could be a viable option for an employee population of less than 200. Determined the correct stop-loss amount to keep all the benefits and reduce costs to acceptable level and migrated to self-funded health care.
· 401k – Pension Plan determination of whether or not Safe Harbor would be the best way to protect the entrepreneurs and attract superior personnel.
· Developed and maintained payroll administration for 10 legal entities in three states from entry level compensation through commissioned sales staff and C-level.
· Developed numerous commissions plans to drive revenue or drive cash and every mix of the two in between and every time exceeded expected results.
Audit direction and consultation
· Utilizing a staff of 7 during a 200% growth mode and system conversion received an unqualified opinion for first year multi-year multi-entity audit cash to accrual basis.
· Unqualified opinion for multi-year PCAOB audit that enabled my client to avoid bankruptcy by sale of assets to public company.
· Managed client with 100% testing of their accounts payable for four years and was able to avoid any adjusting entries.
· Reduced audit hours by 92% saving $.100mm annually after reducing finance department staff saving another $.100mm.
System conversions
· Create initial integration loop from QuickBooks to Creative Manager Pro for client time tracking and billing processing.
· Proprietary to QuickBooks (executed setup of QuickBooks and design of export template to expedite data migration from proprietary system).
· Clean up of 2003-2005 QuickBooks Financial Statement and Transactional data to facilitate six-week audit of Fiscals 2003-2005.
· Legacy System to Great Plains (Adjusted a 3 year roll from cash-to-accrual integrating as audit adjustments became available.)
· Conversion from Proprietary Ad Booking System to Mactive (5,000+ client accounts – located and resolved a $626k roll-forward issue) and from Mactive to Great Plains General Ledger.
